Duty To God: Brotherhood

Everyone is invited to participate in the Duty To God Encampment, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity and Venturers.

Duty To God Encampment- provides an opportunity for all scouts to learn from each other about how a Scout can do his duty to God, as well as grow in their own faith. The format will offer a chance to visit a number of learning stations. Each station will present the most basic precepts and traditions of the faiths represented including but not limited to Catholic, LDS, Methodist, Baptist, Jewish, Protestant, Hindu, etc. There will be a Ten Commandment Walk and an area to learn more about the role of a Chaplin's Aide. Of course there will be games and activities and all the fun and excitement that comes with a BSA camping event.

IS NOT- This is not an event to proselytize, evanglize, recruit, influence or in any way recruit Scouts into, or away from, one belief or another. It is also not design to fulfill the requirements for wearing the purple and silver religious knot. These classes should be done with the Scouts individual faith institution.
